Loads of people have the attitude that ‘revenge is sweet!’ That you don’t get mad – you get even, and it’ll somehow make you feel better!

The truth is that by getting your own back, you’ll never actually sort stuff out – in fact things normally just get worse! If the trouble doesn’t get worse, the bitterness and anger will make you feel worse and destroy your happiness!

God’s attitude is that if someone does wrong to you, DO NOT pay him back by doing wrong! Revenge isn’t the only option!

Showing love is the best way to go! Revenge will only let evil into the situation, and evil will mess you up. Do not let evil defeat you, but defeat evil by doing good!

Walking away from your anger is hard, but by choosing to show love rather than getting even – you’re pleasing God and telling the devil to get stuffed!!!
