Loving God’s easy when life’s good! But what about when it all falls apart?

Job was a really good bloke and his life was sorted – huge family, loads of animals (that meant loads of cash!) And he loved God!

But one day he lost everything! His animals, his servants and all his children were completely wiped-out by murderers, robbers, lightning bolts and hurricanes! Now that’s messed up!

When Job heard this, he got up and tore his robe and shaved his head! (That’s how people showed they were gutted back in the day!)

But check out what else he did – Then he bowed to the ground to worship God! What?! How can you worship God when stuff like that happens?

The thing is - God’s always good and always deserves respect (even when life sucks!) Job knew that! Life’s not always easy or fair – but God always deserves our worship!!!
