Week Ten: Day Six
You’re Nicked!

What’s your immediate reaction when you read these four words? You must not steal! It’s more than likely that you’ve broken this bit of God’s law, and you can picture the time(s) and place(s) too!!!

The truth is that Commandment number 8 isn’t just aimed at the ‘bad-boys’ (and girls) that spend their time nicking cars, shop-lifting and burgling houses!

All the stuff we think ‘isn’t too bad’ or that ‘everyone does it’ is just as serious to God! Switching labels on clothes, illegally down-loading DVD’s and games, nicking sweets, robbing from school, getting away without paying for things, buying stuff we know is stolen – it’s all breaking God’s
law!

Jesus died between to thieves! One died cursing Him! The other died with the promise of paradise! There’s always forgiveness at the cross.

When we do things God’s way, we never have to steal for what we need!
