How far away is the east from the west? It’s further than walking from one side of town to the other! It’s further than driving from one side of the country to the other! It’s further than flying from one side of the world to the other!

It’s even further than travelling from one end of the Milky Way Galaxy to the other (and that’d take you 100 thousand years if you could travel at the speed of light!) And seeing as this galaxy’s just one of billions of galaxies in a universe that never ends – the distance between east and west is never ending!!!

That’s awesome because if you’re a follower of Jesus – that’s how far away your sin is! By dying on the cross Jesus took all your sin as far away as the east is from the west – you’re NEVER going to see it again!

That’s forgiveness God-style!
