Has your mouth ever got you in trouble? Ever cheeked a teacher, sworn at your mum or told a lie that got found out?

Jesus got it spot-on when He said that the mouth speaks the things that are in the heart! No matter how hard you pretend, your words will always show what you’re really like inside!

If you’re abusive or angry inside, you’ll end up cursing! If you’re dishonest, you’ll tell lies, and if pride’s a problem you won’t stop boasting! If you’ve got no respect for others you’ll be cheeky or rude, and if you’ve got no respect for God you’ll even use His name as a swear word!

What does your mouth really say about you? Not just in church, but at home, in school or on the streets!

Ask God to change you inside so that your words will show people what God’s done for you!!!
