What’s the treasure in your life? What gets you really excited? What do you spend your money, your time and your thoughts on? Sport? Music? Clothes? Relationships? Homework?! (yeah right!)

Jesus advice to us about ‘treasure’ is don’t store treasures for yourselves here on earth. In other words – don’t spend your whole life chasing after stuff that you can’t keep! Footballers get injured, clothes get scruffy, relationships can break up and thieves can rob you!!!

He says that it’s much better to store your treasures in heaven! Living your whole life for God and for His purposes. There’s nothing wrong with sport, music and all that other stuff, but don’t live for it. If it becomes the most important thing in your life – even more important than God – then your treasure won’t last!

Be honest, where’s your heart really at? Because your heart will be where your treasure is.
