In stormy weather, ships sometimes just need to drop the
anchor and hold tight till the storm’s over! What do you do when storms
come? What do you rely on when trouble hits?
Praise God, there’s an anchor for our souls – the anchor of hope!!! The hope that we have is God:
- Our Anchor is sure. You can’t get more reliable than God! He keeps
all His
promises and He’s never let anyone down! Even in the roughest storms you
haven’t got to worry! God’s promises won’t budge! - Our Anchor is strong! There’s nothing and no one stronger than
God! With
Him as your anchor you’re guaranteed to stand strong! Even when the waves
of sickness and pain strike and the hurricanes of fear and doubt rage –
remember that God is bigger and harder than any of it!
Is God your anchor? If He is – your soul couldn’t be safer!
